Pizza Tower Review
Pizza Tower is an entertaining platformer with hand-drawn animated animation and numerous game-changing power-ups. There are also challenging multi-stage boss battles.
The game attempts to accomplish several things: precise platforming, an emotive music and multiple traversal strategies however it doesn't let its https://storage.googleapis.com/apkmobile/mobile-games/why-the-biggest-myths-about-pizza-tower.html ambitions grow out of control.
Gameplay
Pizza Tower is an astounding 2D side-scroller game that has some of the best graphics I've seen in recent times. Though acknowledging influences, this unique title remains entirely its own despite showing its influences. Thanks to an engaging art style and incredible Animation techniques Pizza Tower could very could be one of the year's best indie titles to play!
Pizza Tower's gameplay is fast-paced and entertaining. Make sure you collect all of the toppings or blast them through like Sonic the Hedgehog would do to find hidden areas for your pizza. Casual and hardcore gamers alike will love its gameplay!
Pizza Tower's numerous quirky elements contribute to its sense of madness and chaos, with sound effects such as screeching screeching sounds, combined with dynamic facial animations to create the same sensation as 1990's cartoons like Ren & Stimpy. Boss fights are thrilling, however they can be a bit tricky. Unlike other video games, they utilize different attacks and traps that are thrown at you instead of health bars that serve as an indicator to win or lose!
Graphics
Pizza Tower is a 2D platform game featuring stylized pixel graphics as well as an upbeat soundtrack from the past, made with GameMaker and is influenced by Nintendo's stalwart Wario Land series. Fast-paced action gaming based around the game's theme of exploration, movement, scoring attack and exploration. It features stylized art inspired by the 90s, with a music that is energetic!
The characters, graphics, and music may appear disorganized at first glance however that's part of the fun. There are references to Ren and Stimpy the game is even more amusing and difficult to play. The characters, music, and graphics could appear disorganized but that adds character and humor!
"Milkbar" is one of the most imaginative and rewarding 2D platformers I have played in recent times with a great pace and a myriad of unexpected moments. Additionally, one unique aspect is a countdown option at the end of every level, which forces players to run back towards the beginning so that they can get the score.
Graphically, this game resembles the Wario Land series; however its creators have added features to make it more enjoyable for gamers. It is compatible with PC systems with Windows 7, and requires at least 512 MB RAM for optimal playback.
Soundtrack
Pizza Tower offers catchy and funky tunes to dance to, earning praise from critics who compare its soundscape with that of Wario Land series or even Sonic the Hedgehog franchises.
The soundtrack comprises 73 tracks in total, comprising songs unpublished on SoundCloud that can be purchased through Bandcamp and demo versions of the original songs which can also be found on this album.
"Pizza Deluxe!" is a standout among the music, offering an energetic and fast-paced tune for the game's opening menu. The song was in de Castel's demonstration in the game McPig and convinced him to hire him as their composer.
Other notable tracks include "Pepperman Strikes!," a rock-based theme that complements the game's first boss and has an organ solo that makes it particularly groovy "Tombstone Arizona," featuring electric guitars and pipe organ for an eerie theme in the Wasteyard level.
"Distasteful Anchovi" was another unutilized escape-like song that didn't make it into the game's final version, with different tempos and sounds of screams that were featured for Earthworm Jim and other Materia Collective games. Also, this track features elements that recall Sega 32x style music.
Level design
Pizza Tower is an engaging platformer, and its levels are created to make the most of that speed. Each level has something unique; whether that means creative power-ups (such as the Five Night at Freddy's inspired "Don't Make a Sound" level, with a frenzied jump scare against enemies) or inventive puzzles that change the entire game mechanics (for example, if you hit enemy totems and navigating new areas).
Pizza Tower's gameplay core is easy: pick a level and reach its finish by battling all enemies as you solve level-specific puzzles. The majority of these puzzles require finding transformations within each level which give Peppino new abilities to fight his enemies. Most of the time, these transformations alter the way you move like giving you fire-breathing or armor.
Pizza Tower's levels draw heavily on Wario Land's level designs and other genres of entertainment. For instance, some levels come with a timer that is activated when you've completed the level prompting you to hurry back to the starting point while taking care to avoid dangers and obstacles to get safely home before it's too late. These levels often turn the game into a scary-themed puzzle as Courage the Cowardly Dog or The Brutal Legend.
